THARA CART RETURN REFUND AND CANCELLATION TERMS

  1. GENERAL
  1. The Terms of Service with respect to the Thara Cart Platform and Thara Cart Service have been more fully provided in the Terms of Use. Click here. The terms provided herein relate specifically to the return, cancellation, and refund with respect to the products purchased from the sellers listed in the Thara Cart platform. These terms are provided in addition to the terms of use provided in the Thara Cart Platform and should not be seen as in derogation of any other terms. In case of conflict between the terms herein and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall prevail. 
    1. The terms provided herein are in compliance with Rule 5 of the Consumer Protection Ecommerce Regulations, 2020. Our cancellation, return, or refund is subject to the terms of the seller and the type of item being sold and the type of shipping chosen by the user. 
    2. Your access to Thara Cart Services is subject to your consent to abide by the terms herein. In the event you do not agree to the terms contained herein, you are advised not to transact on Thara Cart. Please note that we may, from time to time, change the terms of the terms. Every time you wish to use Thara Cart, please check the terms to ensure you understand the terms and conditions that apply at that time.
  2. TERMS OF CANCELLATION
  1. You can cancel the order any time prior to the dispatch of the product. The request for cancellation of the order can be made by cancelling the order from the ‘My Orders’ section by using the order tracking number, by calling our customer care number, or by any other method, as may be intimated by Thara Cart to you from time to time.
    1. On the receipt of the order cancellation request, your order will be cancelled, subject to any authentication or verification process that we may choose to utilise, with immediate effect, and the refund process for prepaid orders will be initiated within 24 hours of confirmation of cancellation.
    2. However, once the products have been dispatched, there is no option for cancellation. Nevertheless, you may inform your request to not hand over the product at the time of delivery. The rejection of the handover will not entitle you to a refund, but you may contact customer support for any assistance in this regard.
    3. In the event we process any refund, even after dispatch, the same is undertaken as a goodwill gesture and shall not be construed as an admission of any liability, current or future. 
  1. RETURN AND REFUND
    1. You may initiate the return of products within the timelines and as per the terms stipulated under the product page or as per the general terms contained. We would accept the request for the return of such products subject to the terms of these terms. Thara Cart will not process a return if you have placed the order for the wrong product model, color, or incorrect product.
    2. All our packages come with tamper-proof packaging. Please ensure that you do not accept packages where the seal is tampered with and/or the outer package is damaged. Acceptance of a tampered or damaged package will automatically disqualify you from any return claims for physically damaged/defective products, incorrect products, or missing accessories.
    3. You may register a complaint or request for return through Thara Cart. To register a complaint or initiate a return, please go to the ‘My Order section and select Need Help/Cancel Item for the preferred order. Or You may contact us via e-mail, call, or chat with us. To initiate a return through the support, you are required to select ‘Need Help?’ and provide the necessary details about the shipment and order, provide the details of the issue, if any, and request a return. For quality purposes, we may also require you to provide images of the product sought to be returned. The ‘Cancellation/Return’ shall be available only during the duration of the return window. In case of any complaints or concerns that may arise after the closure of the return window, you may contact customer care.
    4. If you have received any product that is eligible for return in terms of these terms, we suggest you immediately register a request in this regard on the Thara Cart. We will, in our sole discretion, verify if (a) the defects and damages in the products or the non-compliances claimed in such products are acceptable to us, or (b) such defects, damages, or non-compliances are due to our default, and will, accordingly post-verification, accept or reject the request for return. For such verification, we may request you to send us images/videos (maximum of up to 60 seconds or 2 MB) of the damaged or defective product received, product packaging images, and/or our personnel to schedule a visit to assess the damage or defect in the product. Further, to the assessment of the damage or the concern reported in the return request, Thara Cart may, in its sole discretion, resolve the issue subject to the assessment report in a manner as it may deem fit.
    5. Please be informed that when you opt to return the products, upon our verification of the products and the documents relating thereto, the refund amount for such products, which are eligible for return as per the terms of this agreement, will be processed within a period of 1 (one) business day from the date of us verifying the defect or the non-compliance in the product. Your refund will be processed only when the conditions as may be stipulated by Thara Cart are fulfilled. The refund amount will be credited to the original payment mode opted by you or in your wallet associated with the Thara Cart (“Wallet”) eligible for a Wallet refund, as may be chosen by you. You acknowledge that after the initiation of the refund, it may take additional time for your refund to reflect in your account, which is subject to your financial institution or payment solution provider's terms and conditions.
    6. Please be informed that for products for which you had opted for ‘cash on delivery’ as a payment option, you will receive refunds in your bank account (as per the bank account details provided by you to us) in case the product is purchased from a third-party seller made available. We do not make any cash refunds.
    7. The amount claimed as a refund will be refunded to you within 10 (ten) working days depending upon the mode of payment chosen by you. Sometimes banks or financial intermediaries take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund does not happen by the date advised, you may contact us, and we will gladly help you.

Non-Returnable

Products under this category are non-returnable due to the consumable nature of the Products. However, in the unlikely event of you having concerns with the quality, freshness, or physical condition of the Product or if the Product delivered is different from what was ordered basis the Product description displayed on Thara Cart, you may return the Product on door-step delivery or you may contact Thara Cart customer care for resolution within 24 hours of the delivery of the Product for the above mentioned reasons.
